Does depiq provide financial advice?

No. depiq is an analysis and information tool, not a financial advisor. All ratings, AI outputs, and metrics are for informational purposes only and do not constitute buy or sell recommendations.

depiq only stores data you enter yourself (portfolio positions, email, name). No banking data, no broker connections. Servers located in Germany (Hetzner).

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the customer portal (Stripe). Access remains active until the end of the paid period.

How is depiq different from Trade Republic or Scalable?

Trade Republic and Scalable are brokers — they execute trades and hold securities. depiq is not a broker and does not buy stocks for you. depiq is an analysis tool you use alongside your broker.

How does depiq differ from Parqet or extraETF?

Parqet and extraETF are primarily portfolio trackers — they show performance, dividend overviews and ETF comparisons. depiq.io goes further: alongside the overview you receive a fundamental quality assessment (AAQS score), fair-value analysis for each position, and AI-powered insights into diversification and concentration risks.

How does fair-value calculation work?

Fair value of a stock in depiq.io is taken from Eulerpool's calculation models — based on fundamental metrics like earnings, cash flows, growth rates and industry comparisons. depiq shows whether a position is currently over- or undervalued (percentage distance from current price). This is a valuation indication — not investment advice.

Why I built depiq

I'm Jürgen, a developer and private investor from Stuttgart. When I started building my first stock portfolio, I was looking for a tool that gives me clear answers — no stock news noise, no generic recommendations, but real fundamental data about my actual positions.

It assesses the quality of individual positions (e.g. via AAQS), calculates fair values, identifies concentration risks, and uses AI to generate personalized recommendations. depiq goes one step further: instead of just showing charts, it tells you whether your portfolio is structurally sound — before the market exposes any weaknesses.

Parqet and extraETF are great portfolio trackers — they visualise your performance and allocation. depiq focuses on analysis and evaluation: Is a company fairly valued? What does the quality score say? Where are structural risks in your portfolio? These are questions tracking tools don't answer. depiq is not a replacement, but a complement — as a layer of deeper analysis on top of your data.

The fair value in depiq is calculated by Eulerpool using a combination of fundamental methods — including discounted cash flow (DCF) and earnings-based valuation. The result is an estimate of intrinsic value, not a price prediction. The upside or downside to the current price shows whether a stock is potentially over- or undervalued. This data is updated regularly and serves as one input among several — alongside AAQS quality score and AI analysis.

The depiq watchlist is more than a bookmark list. You see aggregated metrics (average AAQS, undervalued positions, sector distribution), can classify stocks with system tags (growth, value, dividend …), add personal notes per stock, compare up to 3 stocks side by side, and run what-if scenarios — e.g. how your diversification would change if you add a particular stock to your portfolio. Plus: performance tracking shows how watchlist stocks would have performed since you added them.
